1. Terms of Use

Platform: ZedMusic Biz (“the Platform”)

1. Acceptance

By registering, accessing, or using ZedMusic Biz, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

  • Artists must be 18+ or have parental/guardian consent.
  • Sponsors must be legally registered entities or individuals over 18.
  • Listeners may use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. Services

  • Artists may upload music for streaming, downloading, and promotion.
  • Sponsors may promote or advertise through artist collaborations.
  • Users may listen, stream, download, and share content subject to copyright rules.

4. Artist Rewards

  • Artists earn rewards once their post hits 1,000 views in a given month.
  • Rewards are credited to their ZedMusic Wallet.
  • Payment terms are subject to the Wallet Policy.

5. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Upload infringing, harmful, or illegal content.
  • Misuse the platform for fraud, spam, or unauthorized access.
  • Circumvent payment or view-count systems.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Artists retain copyright to their music but grant ZedMusic Biz a non-exclusive license to stream, display, and distribute it.
  • Sponsors retain rights to their brand materials but grant ZedMusic Biz usage rights for promotional purposes.

7. Termination

ZedMusic Biz may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

8. Liability

  • ZedMusic Biz is not responsible for user-generated content.
  • ZedMusic Biz does not guarantee sponsorship deals, revenue, or downloads.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zambia.

2. Privacy Policy

1. Data Collected

  • Artists: Name, contact info, payment details, uploaded content.
  • Sponsors: Name, business info, payment/billing details.
  • Users: Basic account details, usage activity, device info.

2. Use of Data

  • To process registrations and payments.
  • To track views and calculate rewards.
  • To improve services and provide customer support.

3. Sharing

  • Data may be shared with payment providers and legal authorities if required.
  • Data will never be sold to third parties for marketing without consent.

4. Security

We use industry-standard security to protect accounts and wallets, but users must safeguard their login details.

5. Retention

Data is stored as long as accounts remain active, or as required by Zambian law.

6. Rights

Users can request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data.

3. ZedMusicBiz–Artist Agreement

1. Artist Obligations

  • Artist must provide original music or have proper rights/licensing.
  • Artist must not upload infringing or illegal content.

2. Platform Obligations

  • ZedMusic Biz will stream, promote, and distribute the Artist’s music.
  • ZedMusic Biz will calculate views monthly and credit rewards to the Artist’s Wallet.

3. Payment Terms

  • Artist earns once their song reaches 1,000+ views in a given month.
  • Rewards are credited to the Wallet and can be withdrawn subject to the Wallet Policy.
  • Payment rates may be updated with notice.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Artist retains ownership of their music.
  • Artist grants ZedMusic Biz a non-exclusive, worldwide license to stream, display, and distribute the content.

5. Termination

  • Either party may terminate with 30 days’ notice.
  • ZedMusic Biz may suspend accounts for violations.

4. Sponsor–Artist Agreement

1. Scope

  • Sponsors may engage artists for promotions, advertisements, and brand placement.

2. Sponsor Obligations

  • Provide clear instructions and agreed-upon compensation.
  • Ensure branding is legal and non-infringing.

3. Artist Obligations

  • Display or mention sponsor branding as agreed.
  • Deliver promotional work in good faith.

4. Platform Role

  • ZedMusic Biz acts only as an intermediary and is not liable for disputes between Artist and Sponsor.

5. Payments

  • Sponsorship payments may be handled through the ZedMusic Wallet.

5. Wallet Policy

1. Earnings

  • Artists earn rewards for qualifying songs (≥1,000 views/month).
  • Sponsorship payments may also be deposited into wallets.

2. Withdrawals

  • Minimum withdrawal amount: [Insert Amount].
  • Withdrawals may take [X business days].
  • Payments made through [e.g., Mobile Money, Bank Transfer, PayPal].

3. Fees

  • Transaction fees may apply depending on the withdrawal method.

4. Fraud & Misuse

  • Fake views, bots, or fraud will result in forfeiture of rewards.
  • Accounts engaged in fraud may be suspended.

5. Expiry

  • Wallet balances unused for 12 months may be considered inactive and subject to account closure.
